It’s week six, the final week of the MoneyRx for CRNAs: Secrets and Strategies to Maximize Wealth and Retirement podcast series. And this week, we’re talking about taxes and retirement.
As you know, over the last six weeks, we’ve been walking through the Secrets and Strategies to Maximize Wealth and Retirement book, which is a framework that I have developed over the last two decades in this business that I use to help CRNAs streamline their financial life.
Basically, I’ve taken the five main processes and, within them, the micro-processes that exist inside of a financial plan. And this is really what will help you simplify your financial life and give you a straightforward way to be smart about your money.
I know it all sounds really boring. Believe me, I know it does. It’s the eye roll work.
Everyone knows we should do it. But we kind of don’t want to, just because it’s not fun, it’s not exciting, and it doesn’t give us immediate gratification.
It’s time on the calendar that we have to account for, and then we have to sit down and actually do some homework. And it’s not fun work. However, once you have your psychology of money in place, and you can write your entire financial plan on a single page, it makes all of the difference.
Taxes and Retirement: Tying It All Together
After this week, we’re going to get back to programming as usual, which I guess we really haven’t gotten away from. But each episode will be designed to give you actionable items that you can take with you and implement in your financial life. And that’s really the whole purpose of this podcast series about the book—to give you a framework to work within.
So, to recap, we started with week one, which was checking your vitals. Then, we moved on to week two, which was aligning money with purpose. We then worked on week three, which was purposeful spending, and week four, which was being an owner and not a loaner.
And finally, this week we’re going to talk about taxes and retirement strategy. So, let’s get started.
